Rocket City Lasers inspires 5th graders and up to explore the art and science of lasers and laser show production through their clubs and classes. Setting laser animation to music is the perfect STEAM activity! Neurodivergent students and homeschool group bookings are welcome. Based conveniently at Campus No 805 in downtown Huntsville, daytime homeschool, after school, evening and weekend slots are available. Summer Camps offer half day and full day options.

Burritt camps are back to provide your child with a summer full of learning and laughter! Each week of camp revolves around a different theme. These camps are open to children who have completed grades K-5 and are led by Burritt’s CPR-certified staff. Each camp day runs from 9:00 to 2:00. The option of extended day sessions is available.

Backyard Science, Fairies in the Forest, Garden Detectives! These are just a few of the awesome camps the Huntsville Botanical Garden is offering in June and July of 2022 with options available for ages 5-13 (grades K-6). Extended Care is available in the morning and/or afternoon for an additional fee. Morning Extended Care hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Afternoon Extended Care hours are 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Since 1957, YMCA Camp Cha-La-Kee has been serving young people ages 7-15 with an unforgettable day and overnight camping experience.  We employ caring, fun loving and dynamic camp counselors whose focus is on safety, relationship building and fun. Jennifer Rogers, a veteran elementary teacher, is the program director in Madison and offers an awesomely adventurous and active summer camp. Using the indoor play place as home base, there is never a dull moment. Up A Creek has exciting field trips planned each week of camp with lots of swimming and splashing, too. Up A Creek boasts an indoor rock wall, inflatables, mechanical great white shark ride, ball pit and foam pit, indoor and outdoor play areas, and air hockey table and skeeball.
