Alexander’s Martial Arts Karate Camp
Dates: Weekly from May 29 to July 27
Alexander’s Summer Camp offers our campers 8 martial arts classes a week, they swim twice a week, and have a day at the park each week (weather permitting). Our campers get to be actively learning martial arts and life skills to help make them more successful next school year and for years to come. We offer an early drop-off time of 7:30am with a late pickup time of 5:30pm. IT’S A TOTAL BLAST! Camps run all summer, so pick the weeks you want and give us a call!
Summer Academy at TopGolf
Dates: Weekly from June 3 to July 28
The Topgolf Kids Summer Academy is five days of non-stop entertainment and learning that kids will love. The program includes all of the components that make up the great game of golf. From chipping, putting and full swing, to the rules and etiquette, kids will learn everything they need to know to improve their game. Each Academy is designed and taught by our Golf Teaching Professionals in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Summer Academy is staffed with a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure each Junior Golfer receives in-depth, hands-on attention while he or she develops a winning golf swing. Randolph School Summer Camps
Dates: June 3- 28
The Randolph Summer Program offers a variety of activities for rising K-8 students interested in fundamentals, skill development, practice, and just plain fun! This summer’s sports/fitness offerings include baseball, basketball, football, cheer, volleyball, tennis, and ZUMBA! Classes are taught by Randolph faculty, staff, and coaches, and designed to reach each age group at varying levels of skill. All camps are open to the general public. You do not need to be a Randolph student to attend.
Huntsville Ballet School Summer 2019
Dates: June & July
Ages: 3 yrs +
Through age-appropriate classes and activities led by professional faculty, students ages 3 and up build creativity, coordination, flexibility and strength as well as artistic expression. BALLET 101 classes offer dancers of all ages who are new to ballet the opportunity to experience classical ballet for the first time. Children ages 3-6 will take a magical adventure through dance in the ONCE UP ON A BALLET CAMP. Our INTENSIVES offer the intermediate and advanced dancer the opportunity to stay in shape and continue training. MINI INTENSIVES are a shorter version of the INTENSIVE to introduce the younger dancer to a multiple class day. HBS also offers STUDENT Session and OPEN SESSION of weekly scheduled classes throughout the summer. With both daytime and evening options, we are certain you will find classes for your young dancer.
Youth Learn to Row Camps
Dates: June 11-15, June 25-29 (Middle School Only), July 15-20
Ages: Rising 6-12 grade
Come try rowing, the nation’s fastest growing sport. Rowing is a full-body, low-impact sport that teaches balance, coordination, and team-building. It does not need to be started at an early age to become great at it. We have experienced, certified coaches who will teach your child how to row. During these half-day camps, campers will actually be rowing on the TN river and will be racing their fellow campers on the last day! T-shirts and a daily snacks are included in the cost. Upon camp completion, campers can row with this winning team for the rest of the summer rowing season at no additional cost. A camper’s registration fees will be applied to fall registration should your child choose to join the team!
Huntsville-Madison County Rowing & Watersports
Dates: June 10-14; June 24-28; July 15-19
FREE CAMPS THIS SUMMER: New To Rowing Athletes- During this introductory camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of Rowing – Sweep & Sculling. The goal of the camps is to introduce each camper to the Olympic Sport of Rowing, as well as, Collegiate Scholarship opportunities, physiology, nutrition, equipment, terminology, and safety of moving boats on and off the water. Camps are co-ed for students ages 10-18.
