Huntsville Weekend Roundup June 28-30
Happy weekend, Huntsville! Once again – like we’ve done over 400 times before – we’ve listed our favorite free/cheap things families can do together this weekend in one place below. Our mission here at RCM is to make parenting easier. Have we done that for you? We hope so because we’d rather you have more time to do the things you love best – like an extra bedtime story or a board game with your kids.
Make your plans now for the 4th of July with our list of celebrations & fireworks shows. And keep in mind there are even MORE awesome things to do over on our full Event Calendar!

EDITOR’S NOTE: Here at Rocket City Mom our mission is to make parenting in Huntsville easier. That’s it. We share information about events, activities, resources, etc. If it’s something that local parents will find interesting, or something that makes families stronger, we share it here. To be clear – if your family is not accepting or tolerant of people who are gay, then you should not attend this parade or event. But there are MANY families in the Tennessee Valley who have someone in their lives (parent, child, relative, friend) who is gay and they want to show their support and pride for those people by attending such events. I hope all of our Readers can appreciate this, but if by including this event Rocket City Mom has lost your readership, then I’ll save you the hassle of emailing us and just take this opportunity to say adieu.
