Independence Day Celebration at Ditto

The 2021 Independence Day Celebration will be held near Ditto Landing’s Kingston Pavilion. Featuring Live Music & Fireworks. Celebration Features Performances by Good Vibe Tribe and JEDEye. There will also be food trucks, games, and a fireworks simulcast on My Star 99.1. You have the option to upgrade to a VIP pass that includes a box dinner, private bathroom pass, VIP parking & seating, and a visit from Summer Santa! (All VIP proceeds benefit CCYR.)

Fort Payne’s annual Independence Day celebration brings together the community for an evening of great music, good food, and fireworks. Enjoy complimentary peanuts, popcorn and drinks. Food and drinks will also be available from local vendors, for additional cost. The night culminates with ooh’s and ah’s as a spectacular fireworks display lights up the night. This year feature’s Alabama tribute band The Boys in the Band at 7:30 with fireworks around 9PM.

Spirit of America Family Festival

The Spirit of America Family Festival & Fireworks Show at Point Mallard Park is back for it’s 54th year! This 2-day festival and fireworks show celebrates America’s heritage and birthday every Fourth of July. It is one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in the state. The event offers family games, petting zoo, pony rides, live stage entertainment, over 125 food and craft vendors, booming fireworks, a parade, waterpark, and fun for the whole family!

Star Spangled Celebration in Madison

The City of Madison Star Spangled Celebration is back! The event is free to attend, and there will be inflatables, live music, food vendors, and fireworks at the end of the night. A free shuttle service will be provided to and from Bob Jones High School for the event.

New Market Family Freedom Fest

The inaugural New Market Family Freedom Fest is here – come hang out with the entire family! Live music from Huntsville’s own Microwave Dave begins at 6pm, and there will be inflatables, crafts, and yard games. They’re grilling up hot dogs and burgers and slicing into some delicious watermelon! Concessions will also be available. Tickets are $5 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Bobbie Watkins Odom Food Bank. Grab your tickets through Eventbrite in advance or pay at the event.

Bay Village Fireworks Show

Viewable at Lucy’s Barge at Lucy’s Branch Marina (6049 Bay Village Drive in Athens) or from your boat at Tennessee River Mile Marker 287 at sunset.  Amateur show hosted from a floating barge just offshore of Bay Hill/Lucy’s Branch hosted by local families, weather permitting.

Sand Mountain Potato Festival

Athens Fireworks Show ​At the Athens Stadium (100 U.S. Highway 31N in Athens). No stadium seating. Viewable from adjacent properties including Central Church of Christ, Athens Shopping Center, Athens High School. Please respect private property and traffic right of ways. Please remain in your vehicles and enjoy the firework show after dark provided by Athens-Limestone County Tourism, City of Athens and Limestone County Commission. Tune into Outlaw 105.1 for the music. Note: Due to construction visitors should be prepared to take interstate and take exit 354 or 72 to US 31.

It’s a day full of arts and crafts, food, live music, and fireworks! We’ll also have our golf cart parade and other contests for the family. Play putt-putt in the newly updated putt-putt course, and the swimming pool will be open and renting kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards! Park Admission is $5 per person. Additional costs for camping, pool, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and putt-putt.
