Parenting Enhancement with a Purpose
No matter what your profession, being a parent is your most important job. Parents are a child’s first teacher and have a major impact on their development. Studies have shown that the early years of life are crucial in establishing a strong foundation for success in school and later in life. Parenting can be wonderful and rewarding, but it can also be difficult and sometimes unpleasant. Most parents experience moments (or months or years) of feeling overwhelmed. Parenting is hard work!
What is it… and How Much?
The Parenting Enhancement with a Purpose parent education program strives to make accessible to all parents in Madison County free information, resources, and support needed to get their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers off to a great start. Classes empower parents with the skills and confidence needed to provide a nurturing relationship and an optimal environment that will encourage their children’s healthy growth and development and promote school readiness and future success.
Each class, presented by UCP Huntsville education and early intervention professionals, is FREE thanks to the support of The Boeing Company.
