You Are Cordially Invited to The Fairytale Ball…

Huntsville will be home to an enchanted evening for families this Fall that embraces lots of our favorite things! Princesses, super heroes, and beloved storybook characters are all invited to The Fairytale Ball, a magical event hosted by UCP of Huntsville & the Tennessee Valley on November 16, 2019. We’ve got all the details and a chance for you to win tickets below!
Fairytale Ball Enchants All Ages
The young and young and heart are invited to dress up in your favorite fairytale or super hero attire, experience character Meet & Greets with unique photo opportunities, enjoy royally sweet and villainously savory treats, dance the night away with Metropolitan DJ, try your luck at unlocking a treasure, and more!
In addition to dinner and dancing, Fairytale Ball guests will also get a show! The talented thespians at James Clemens Theatre will be performing throughout the evening. They have created special sets and vignettes just for The Ball – who knows which of your favorite heroes and characters will make an appearance?

The best part? All this fairytale frivolity supports a wonderful local organization. Proceeds benefit local UCP Huntsville client family services.
How UCP Works Their Magic
Tracy Brady Cieniewicz is the Sustainability Director at UCP Huntsville and plans many of their annual fundraising efforts. She and her event committee wanted to bring a fun dress-up event to area families for a while. “We tried to put together something special that wasn’t like any other family event in Huntsville.”
UCP Huntsville provides awareness and support for North Alabama residents, and while Cerebral Palsy is in their name, they offer a variety of programs and services to families who represent 178 diagnoses. UCP Huntsville is most likely known for their work with children. What you might not know is they continuously offer support throughout their clients’ lifespan.
This important work doesn’t magically fully fund itself, and the Fairytale Ball proceeds will help with UCP’s annual efforts.

In next year’s posting you may want to mention that tickets are limited and recommend folks purchase in advance. I made the big mistake of assuming I could just pay at the door. Unfortunately they sold out (which I would have been able to see had I attempted to purchase in advance). My three year old was super sad when we got there, dressed to meet princesses and got turned away.
Thanks for letting us know – we will be more clear about that next year!
We had a great time, this was an incredible event for the whole family – kids are 4 yrs, 2 yrs and 2 months
