4D Farm (Cullman, AL)

Come on down and enjoy the  jumping pillow, cow train, two story play barn, walk through the maze, hayride to the pumpkin patch, 80 ft slide, farm animals, pig races, rubber duck races, sand pit, Hippity Hop Horses, tire mountain, and spider web.

Down on the Farm (Rainesville)

downonthefarmOpening September 20th the 2014 hours at this Rainsville farm will be Tuesday-Thursday from 4-8PM, Fridays 4-9PM, Saturdays 10AM-9PM, and Sundays 10AM-6PM.  Activities include a corn maze, pumpkin painting, hayrides, a simulated milking cow, lots of playground fun for the little ones and a farm animal petting zoo.

Sand Mountain Corn Maze (Sardis City)

Corn Blasters, Duck Races and Cow Train rides are just some of the family fun to be had at this giant corn maze. There is also a pumpkin patch, hay rides, play barn and pumpkin store. Opens Sept. 20 at 10:00AM.

McGee Farm (Florence)

mcgeefarmOpen September 13-October 31, this family farm advertises itself as “Country Atmosphere” and the owners encourage you to “sit under our big oak and listen to the country sounds.” Take a 20-30 minute trip to the real pumpkin patch where you can see and pick small and large pumpkins right off the vine. Children an also feed the chickens, see baby goats, and pick cotton. They also have thousands of Mums to select from. Pumpkin prices start at 3/$1.00, large pumpkins $.30/pound.

Punkin’ Pickin’ Extravaganza

Pumpkin in the field ready to be pickedNow in it’s second year, this train is sure to be a fun day for the whole family! An alternative to the traditional pumpkin patch, the North Alabama Railroad Museum is combining the thrill of picking a pumpkin with the excitement of a train ride! Riders will be allowed to disembark from the train at Normal and enter a punkin’ patch (pumpkins provided by McGee Farms). The children will be allowed to select a pumpkin (included in the price of their ticket) and take it back to Chase on the train and then home.
