Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire – William Butler Yeats

From its inception, Rocket City Mom has made education a primary focus of this site because we know that there is no greater gift parents can bestow on their children than a great education. For the last two years we have partnered with the U.S. Space and Rocket Center to bring an event like no other to the Tennessee Valley highlighting Independent Schools, Magnet Programs, Homeschooling Resources, and Education-Related Businesses.

Learning Expo 2015 will again give parents an opportunity to find all the local education information they need in one place in one day! Join us on Saturday, January 31st, from 10AM until 4PM for Learning Expo 2015. This event is FREE and open to the public and will feature a full day of speakers and entertainment.

Exhibitors

Space in the expo is given on a first come, first served basis. Due to the increased popularity of the expo and the increased media attention we anticipate due to our keynote speaker, we do recommend reserving your spot early.

NOTE: The mission of our expo is to provide as much information as possible to area parents about local educational opportunities and resources. To this end we do put restrictions on who can participate in our expo. If you have any questions about whether your organization qualifies for the expo, please contact us at info@rocketcitymom.com before submitting your application.
