Valley Conservatory is offering two camps this year that will delight your music loving kids!

String Camp (ages 6-18)

• Instruments and fundamental instruction will be provided on violin, viola, cello, and bass for students with no prior experience.
• Students with experience must bring their own instruments and will be divided into chamber groups according to level of performance.
• An array of fun-filled activities that are structured according to age group appropriateness.
• Students will be presented in a culminating performance at the end of camp.

Music Fun Time (ages 4-7)

• Songs, stories, movement, instruments, listening

For Art’s Sake’s Summer ARTventure Camp gives children a chance to explore their inner artist! Each camp week, art activities will center around a different and exciting theme! Our 2024 themes range from “ART-cycle” where we create artwor from used materials to “Gnarly Nature” in which our art is inspired by the weird and wonderful world of nature. Campers will have the opportunity to work with a range of mediums including painting, drawing and 3D materials and they will be able to take home two unique, completed artworks each day they attend. We can’t wait to create with you this summer!

The Huntsville Museum of Art Academy has offered creative and engaging hands-on art classes for over 40 years. The Academy’s programs are held in two studios in the Museum overlooking Big Spring Park. Explore your creative side with art classes at the Museum Academy. The Academy offers workshops and classes in a variety of media year-round. Find something to suit your interests whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist.
