Niña & Pinta Replica Ships: Guntersville City Harbor

The Nina & Pinta replica Ships starting June 23rd 2025, will be open for scheduled guided tours only Monday through Friday with groups of 15 or more. Ships will be open for Self-guided walk aboard tours Saturday & Sunday from 11am-5pm at Guntersville City Harbor, 29 Paddle Wheel dr. in Guntersville, AL until October 19th 2025. The Niña was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools. Archaeology magazine called her "the most historically accurate Replica of Columbus’ Ship ever built." Many historians call the “Caravel” the Space Shuttle of the 15th Century. Today, both Ships tour together as a dockside “floating museum” for the purpose of educating the Public and school Children on the “Caravel”, a versatile Portuguese Ship used by Columbus and many early explorers during the “Age of Exploration”!

Come join at the Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve as they hike the “high trails” of the preserve. This hike will give the opportunity to get out and see the upper elevations of the preserve. They'll start by heading south from the pavilion on the Moonshine Trail. They'll take the Whole Planet Trail to the Terry Trail for a walk up the hill. A loop on the Bulldog trail will bring the group around to catch the Terry Trail back down to the pavilion.
