Free Driver’s Education Course Starts in September!

Students all over Madison County have experienced a delay in getting their driver’s license in light of the Covid-19 pandemic pausing school driver’s ed courses. But now, there is a solution! The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama is hosting a free Driver’s Education course thanks to a local grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
Driver’s Education Course Details
Students ages 16-24 have access to certified driving instructors leading this special course. Those that complete six hours of instruction and pass the test will receive a discount on their car insurance.
Instruction starts September 13, 2021, so don’t delay getting signed up! Class time is on Tuesdays & Thursdays, with driving practice on Saturdays. If you don’t have one, a fully-insured car is available for hands-on driving practice with the instructors. This vehicle is also available to use for the Road Test.
