Bike Rodeo
Saturday from 9AM-Noon

This event is a contest to test the skills of our young bike riders. There are five events to assess skills including balance and steering capability. There are three age categories, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-11. The top three contestants will be awarded trophies. Representatives from the Bike Shop in Madison will be available to inspect bikes and offer minor corrections. Water and coolies will be available.

Yay books! There are two ways to nab some great summer reading titles for your kids today…
- Friends of the Library Summer Book Sale – This annual sale is one to mark your calendar for! Lots of kids books, best sellers, hardbacks, paperbacks, and rare books. All items are 25¢ each and proceeds support the Downtown Huntsville Library.
- Earlyworks Book Swap – Bring in books in good condition and collect one ticket for every two books you bring. Each ticket will get you one book to take home. Books for all ages are welcome. No admission required!
Taste the Spirit of Madison

Insanity Skate Complex | More Info
Taste the Spirit of Madison brings together food trucks, local shops and businesses as well as entertainment. This is a fun FREE event for the whole family. There will be face painting, backyard olympics and a dunk tank where you will have a chance to dunk Madison’s VIPs.
Aviation Heritage Fly-In

In addition to static displays of a UH-1, L-19 and U3B, there will be several other military aircraft on display as well as amateur built aircraft and commercial general aviation aircraft. Food vendors will be available on the airport grounds and parking will be free with a shuttle bus to and from the display and rides area.

The Mountain Deux is Huntsville first aquathlon (run/swim event) for all ages, hosted by the Land Trust of North Alabama and Mountain Springs Swim Club in Huntsville.The running portion of the Mountain Deux will begin at the Land Trust’s historic Three Caves site, and will continue on through various Land Trust trails. The swimming portion will be held in the new saltwater pool at Mountain Springs. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Dog Days of Summer
