Summer Camps at Sci-Quest
Everybody knows Sci-Quest Hands On Science Center is a great place in Huntsville to take a class or attend a day camp. But did you know you can choose from a variety of different camp offerings, including week-long or mini camps, to build a summer filled with fun and excitement? They even offer single day camps for pre-K children.
If your kiddo is starting to mutter the “B” word (I’m bored!) you might want to take a closer look at this Camp Spotlight – there are still some spots available and it’s not too late to sign up!

What is your camp’s predominant mission/philosophy?
Sci-Quest mission is to inspire a lifelong quest for discovery through educational and interactive science. Each of our summer camps at Sci-Quest reflect that mission.
What sets your camp apart from other area programs?
Sci-Quest’s camps provide the perfect opportunity for children to explore, experiment and discover science! Our camps offer hands-on experiments, fun and challenging projects, innovative learning experiences, and fun take homes. All curriculum used within our camps are linked to curriculum in schools. This allows us to provide children early exposure to new science concepts and activities.
Sci-Quest also offers extended care options with early drop-off (7:30-9 a.m.) and late pick-up (4-5:30 p.m.) for our camps.
What activity opportunities exist for your campers?
We offer more than 50 different camps with subjects ranging from animals to planets, food chemistry to solar energy, art to aviation, engineering to video game design, biotechnology to aerial photography, mobile app design to 3D printing, and much much more.
What advice do you have for parents looking for a camp for their child(ren)?
Children need to be ready to learn in a group environment during our camps. They will work with other children on group projects and experiments.
