Ladies and Gentleman, children of all ages. Allow me to amaze you with a little magic. Close your eyes for a moment and I’ll transport you away from your dirty dishes and uncut grass, your plans for dinner and that pile of laundry in the closet.

Imagine yourself at the symphony, dressed in your Sunday best, with your lovely spouse sitting on your left as you both enjoy powerful and moving classics like Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake as well as music by Khachaturian, Kabalevsky and, Sibelius and many others.

What is that you say? No babysitter? No problem.

Look to your right. Those are your beautiful children and not only are they sitting still as they soak up all that classical music but they are mesmerized. Unbelievable? Maybe. Magical? Definitely. But possible thanks to the brilliant combination of orchestral music and acrobatics known as Cirque de la Symphonie.

Your entire family will love watching masterpieces of music come visually alive as aerialists fly overhead and acrobatic feats are performed on the shared stage. These artists are among the best in the business, and they include world record holders, gold-medal winners of international competitions, and some of the most original talent seen anywhere.

Huntsville Symphony Orchestra will present this magical pairing at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall on September 22nd and 23rd.
