Join on Thursdays (during the school year) for BRICK DAY for Home Schooled children. Take advantage of this opportunity to use LEGO® building as a way to teach building techniques, structure, logic, or any of a number of other things, or just to play! They will be adding a series of challenges to be used each day you come in. Simply pick one of the challenges and we will provide you with other needed items for that challenge. This will provide the participants with a learning experience and a new concept each time they come!

Every first Thursday of each month from 5pm-7pm is Tea & Colouring at the Meadery.
The bar manager Kenna will be putting on a complimentary urn of tea, a nibble of some sort, and hosting an informal colouring party at the group table. The program introduces toddlers between the ages of 2 and 3 to art and to the Museum through artful short stories, gallery play activities, and an art activity. Local author Tom Borcher will be at Harrison Brothers on August 16th, from 2PM-4PM, signing books! For thirty-five years, Tom argued his clients' cases before juries in the courts of California and Georgia. He retired in 2014 and moved to Huntsville, Alabama. In Justice in Your Court, he translates the excitement and drama of the courtroom to the written page. His live program, You Be the Judge, has entertained and educated audiences, including adult continuing education classes, high school students, church groups and even a yearly presentation at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas. The live program follows the same format as the case studies included in his book, Justice in Your Court. Tweens age 9-13 - ever wanted to learn to play the popular card game Magic: The Gathering? Now is your chance at the Madison Public Library! They will learn the basics of the game and how to build our own decks, then face off against each other in a friendly tournament. This program is generously sponsored by Magikids, a non-profit dedicated to making Magic: The Gathering accessible for kids everywhere.
