Session 1: Exploring Citizen Science with iNaturalist

It’s time for the second installment in Cattyshack, Inc’s Wednesday classes! Funds raised from this event will allow them to buy three incubators to help them save more bottle babies. A $15 donation per person is requested. The classes for July are all about cat and kitten care! They will go over the basics and answer some of the time old questions cat owners deal with - like - cats can’t be trained can they? (The answer is yes, yes they can)! Must RSVP

Modeled after the existing Happy Days program. Students will participate in rotating daily activities (art, music, dance, games, social time, etc.). Some activities may include students from both Happy Days and Happy Days Prep, but they will not spend the entire day together.
Every Thursday this summer they are combining a science lesson with an artwork! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. To register, email the name of your child and their age to triana@hmcpl.org. NOTE THAT WE REPEAT CLASSES IN JULY.

Join for Stories in the Store where we will read a couple of stories and children will be able to take an active role in the storytelling. Come early to choose your favorite stool! Story time will begin at 10:30 am outside of the Museum Store. New stories will be read each week. Admissions to the Exhibits is not included.

When nine-year-old Hogarth Hughes befriends a giant robot from another planet, he tries to keep him safe from a government agent named Kent Mansley who wants to destroy him. The original animated classic. The Iron Giant was rated PG in 1999. The Auditoriums open at 6:00 pm. The movie begins around 6:30 pm. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditoriums during the movie!

Join for Kids Slime Night- a messy, magical night of slime-making fun! Each child will mix up their very own custom slime creation (think glitter, colors, mix-ins... oh my!) and enjoy a slice of pizza + drink while the slime sets. They'll provide the aprons... and the clean-up! Must RSVP
