The Monte Sano Art Festival has been an exciting tradition for the North Alabama community for over two decades. Featuring the best local and regional artists representing an array of disciplines and techniques, the Monte Sano Art Festival is a treasure chest full of one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Arts Huntsville does not charge admission to the festival; however, Monte Sano State Park will charge $10 per car for parking or $5 per walk-in festival attendee, cash only. All funds go towards supporting the state parks system!

🛍️All Other Public Shopping Days - They are open to the public, and children are allowed! Please keep them close to you and out of the racks/off the toys! Kid's Market is a tantalizing place for children with lots of new-to-them toys, activities, books, and other items to explore - BUT they are our consignors' items until they are sold and go home with you, so PLEASE remind your children to stay off the toys and other items. Von Braun Astronomical Society will celebrate Astronomy Day on September 27th in person at Monte Sano State Park! Daytime events (between 1 – 5 pm) will include: mini-planetarium shows, Telescope tours, and Meteor radar demos. Evening events (between 7:30 – 9 pm) will include a keynote speech followed by a planetarium show. Astronomy Day is FREE and open to the public!
