MadFest

MadFest is a brand new community event in Madison, Alabama that combines festival fun with community service. The event is planned exclusively by high school students and will take place on May 4th at Madison City Stadium.

Activities
Hot Air Balloon
10am–12pm and 2pm–4pm
Ever wanted to know what Madison looks like up above? Take a ride on our MadFest hot air balloon! A professional balloonist will take you and your family up for a fun-filled five-minute flight, allowing you to see firsthand the natural beauty of our city.

Electric Train
Available 8am–4pm
All aboard! Take a ride on our MadFest electric train! When you arrive, our friendly locomotive will greet you at your vehicle and take you to the entrance of MadFest. Throughout the day, you and your family can hop on board and ride all around MadFest.

Inflatables
Available 8am–4pm
It wouldn’t be a festival without a good ‘ol bounce house or two (or three)! At MadFest, we’ll have three incredibly fun inflatables for all ages. On top of that, we’ll also have an inflatable jousting area so you can show your friends who’s boss.

Food Trucks
Available 10am–2:30pm
Grab a bite from some of Madison’s best food trucks! Eat from places like Nica’s Grill & Cafe, Happi Pappi’s Beignets, Kona Ice, Forever Grateful, and many more. At MadFest, no one is going hungry.

Community Vendors
Available 8am–4pm
MadFest is all about community connections. At the festival, we’ll have some of the best companies in our city. Their dedication to supporting our city is part of the reason Madison is so amazing.

Balloon Artist
Available 8am–4pm
Hats and swords are only the tip of the iceberg with Bobby the Balloon Artist – this guy doesn’t mess around. Bobby is the best in the business, and you don’t want to miss his amazing balloon creations!

Stay for our balloon show!
During the day, Bobby the Balloonist will put on a 60-minute kids’ show with interactive balloon activities! Stay tuned for more information about the show.

MadFest Car Show
Available 12pm–4pm
Love cool cars? You won’t want to miss out on our MadFest car show! We’ll have antique cars from around our community represented at our festival. Know someone who has a cool car? Learn more about participating in our show by clicking below!

Field Activities
Available 8am–4pm
Throughout the day, we’ll have carnival games and field activities to enjoy! We’ll have ultimate frisbee tournaments and cornhole faceoffs allowing you to show off your competitive side. You don’t want to miss out on these incredibly fun events!
