Guided Hike at Green Mountain Nature Preserve

On the first official weekend of summer come for a refreshing hike at Green Mountain Nature Preserve. This hike along Alum Hollow Trail will take hikers to Alum Falls and Alum Cave, two scenic spots on the preserve. The cave (really an overhang) served as a shelter for native residents and travelers over this area’s human history. The trail is relatively easy, with the exception of a steep hill leading down to the waterfall and cave at the half-way point.
