Foraging Hike at Harvest Square
Sat 18th @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Free![](https://www.rocketcitymom.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/land-trust-guided-hikes.jpg)
(Easy / Around 2 hours, but maybe longer / 2 miles or so) At Harvest Square Nature Preserve, find out about the special plants you might find foraging around ponds on a pleasant mid-spring walk. Forager Casey Lanier will lead you through the preserve on a route that will be determined the day of the event.
This hike is educational, so if you’re looking for a walk with no long stops to talk, it’s probably not what you’re looking for. The hike is scheduled to last 2 hours, but it may run long. This hike around the preserve is not intended for collection or consumption of species.
This event is free but donations to support Land Trust of North Alabama are appreciated.
Registration is required. Information at landtrustnal.org/guided-hikes
When: Saturday, May 18 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: Harvest Square Nature Preserve – 111 Allyson Sadie Blvd, Harvest, AL 35749
