Pregnancy Loss & Support in Huntsville, Madison, and North AL
Pregnancy loss is an incredibly sad but not unusual part of the pregnancy journey for many women. Experts estimate as many as 50% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. While more than half of those pregnancies end before the woman misses a menstrual cycle there are still as many as 15-25% of recognized pregnancies that end in miscarriage.
This loss is felt deeply by hopeful and expectant families and like any loss of a child can have a devastating effect on the mental health of those involved. That is why it is so crucial to seek out support and resources when going through this experience.
Over the years, contributors to our site have shared their own journeys – Losing a Pregnancy, Finding a Community and I’m Here for the Transplant.
If you are suffering or want to reach out to help someone who is please we encourage you to reach out. Asking for and offering help to others who are on the same journey is the best way to heal. <3
