Huntsville Christmas Eve Jingle 2020
- Ring a bell for the Christmas spirit!
- December 24, 2020 at 6:00 PM
This year has been rough on so many – and I hope one good thing we can look back on about 2020 are the public shows of support. This spring and summer Huntsville created several demonstrations to show appreciation for hospital staff, doctors, and nurses that have been on the front lines of fighting Covid-19, and still are. First responders, teachers, parents working from home, elected officials – cheering them all on has been a bright spot in our lives these past several months.
Now it’s Santa’s Turn!
We’ve recently learned that families all over the world are organizing a little holiday cheer in the form of a Christmas Eve Jingle for another essential worker! Inspired by the meme you might have seen on social media…
The Huntsville Christmas Eve Jingle
On Christmas Eve at 6:00 PM we’re asking everyone in Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley to come outside and ring a bell for two minutes to spread Christmas spirit and help Santa fly that sleigh.
After a tough year it would be an amazing memory for the kids (and adults too). Let’s end 2020 with a bit of magic, hope, and togetherness! It’s a wonderful opportunity to take those two minutes to reflect on this year as a family, think about essential workers everywhere who are still doing important jobs for us all over the country, remember those that have been lost, and hold each other tight.
Grab any bell – jingle bells, hand bells, a bell ring tone on your phone – and countdown to 6:00 PM with us. Oh, and help us spread the word by sending this post to your friends and family!
