Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville’s Department of Parks and Recreation present the 2017 Concerts in the Park season. The Concerts, which will be held for ten weeks every Monday evening, begin June 5 and conclude August 7. The series will showcases a mix of musical genres from rock and roll, pop and top 40 to swing, country, bluegrass, Celtic and jazz. The Concerts take place in downtown Huntsville on the Huntsville Museum of Art outdoor stage in Big Spring International Park from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. The series is free to the public; concertgoers should bring their own seating and leashed pets are welcome. Picnics are welcome, though concertgoers will have a variety of dinner choices available as Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville will host local food trucks at the weekly Concerts.

Sponsored by the City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department, this concert series on the banks of the Tennessee River runs every Monday in June and July (with the exception of the weeks of Memorial Day and Independence Day). These FREE concerts offer a wide variety of musical styles in a family-friendly setting. Guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Per Decatur City Ordinance, alcohol is not permitted in the park and pets must be leashed according to City laws. For more information call 256-341-4818.

Join Bridge Street for their second annual outdoor concert series every Friday 6-8 p.m. June 2 through June 23 near Monaco Pictures. Enjoy music while you shop, eat outside at nearby restaurants, or just bring lawn chairs and enjoy. There will be free sunglasses, face painting and balloon sculptures for the kids!

Downtown Huntsville Summer Music Series
Downtown Huntsville Inc. is once again planning to provide beaucoup opportunities to hear live music this summer. During the first weekend in June, enjoy Buskerfest 2017. During these times, a total of 25 musicians will be scattered around Downtown doing what is known as “busking” – the art of playing music on the sidewalk for tips. “Under the Lights” brings more free music and fun for all ages to the grounds outside U.G. White and Pints & Pixels. Art Walks will return this year and take place on Washington Square on second Fridays in May through August, and live music will be present alongside amazing shopping opportunities from artists and craftsmen set up around the square. You also won’t want to miss the unique new Drive Through Concert Series, taking place at the Regions Building Drive Through on first Fridays from 5PM-8PM.
