Huntsville City School Board Election Guide 2016

While national elections loom large, it’s actually local elections that create the biggest impact in communities where they are held. If you have a student in Huntsville City Schools you’ve hopefully heard there’s a big School Board election coming up on August 23, 2016.
Families that live in Huntsville City School Districts One and Five have several candidates they need to research, and we wanted to make it a little easier for them to do that. Just like in previous local elections that specifically affect families, Rocket City Mom has compiled a series of posts about each candidate running for Huntsville City School Board. We asked them to answer the same nine questions, and have run their responses each unedited and as they have sent them to us.

We’re being told that the forum is at AAA. Who would be able to clarify that?
Looks like the venue changed to AAA. I’ll update the post to reflect that. Thanks for the heads up!
The candidate forum is August 15, 2016 at AAA.
You have the date for the forum listed as Monday, August 18, 2014. Yikes!
Also, the forum is on Monday the 15th – not 18th. As always a great collection of questions.
Sheesh – thanks everyone! I must have been looking at a totally different calendar. I corrected the date.
