Good Day Kid’s Fest Sings Happy Birthday
Everyone loves a grand party, and this year’s Good Day Kid’s Fest invites your family to celebrate a couple of BIG birthdays at the area’s biggest festival just for kids!
Rocket City Mom is turning five years old this year, and Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is commemorating 10 years of being open to the public, as well as it’s ninth annual Good Day Kid’s Festival. If that’s not an excuse for a giant party, what is?
We’ll be pulling out all the stops and your family is invited – it’s going to be the greatest Good Day ever!
Good Day 2016 Lineup
Huntsville’s premier event just for kids will have EVERYTHING…
- Live music on the dock by the Good Day Band (aka Jonny Yen)
- Delicious food trucks
- Epic Nerf Wars on the lawn
- Puppies!
- Performances & demonstrations from local groups
- Kid’s activities & party games
- Community vendors
- A puppet show!
- Scavenger hunt through Lowe Mill
- Balloons!
- Facepainting!
- Annual Good Day Parade with the Huntsville Drumline
- A giant birthday cake with a huge surprise!
There’ll be more balloon poppin’, candle blowin’, and moon bouncin’ than the law will allow. The best part? All proceeds will benefit Lowe Mill’s future playground, which is closer than ever to being a reality. A ground breaking ceremony this Summer will be held at the location where it is to be built.
Sounds Great! How Much?
The event is FREE, although a $5 parking donation is suggested, and we will be collecting donations at the entrance. Also, attendees may want to bring funds for certain vendors and/or activities as well as food and drink purchases from Lowe Mill restaurants. Food trucks will also be onsite during the festival.
