Weekend Roundup July 31- August 2

For some of you, this is your last weekend before school starts back next week.

There’s probably a mixed reaction of joy & sadness as kids gather their books and backpacks and parents prepare to fill out reams of new paperwork and permission slips. Luckily you can make the most of this weekend in Huntsville – there are concerts to attend, Quidditch brooms to ride, fountains to frolic in, and new dance moves to learn (The Nae Nae, anyone?).

It’s also the perfect opportunity to get some Back to School shopping in – Rocket City Consignment opens Friday in their new location at Madison Square Mall across from Dillards.  We’ve got lots of great checklists and advice from both teachers and other local parents on how to get back into school routines smoothly, and how to handle that dreaded Kindergarten Drop Off in our Education Pages.

Now to the Huntsville Weekend Roundup…
