Share Your Frozen Fever & Win

We know you have them. Don’t be shy. You’ve spent the last two years watching the movie, listening to THAT SONG, and OK, maybe singing along. For better or worse, if you’ve got kids of a certain age, Frozen has taken over your home. I’ve got two little girls who have both been infected but it’s the 2.5 year-old that has it bad. So bad that she insists on wearing her handmade –Thanks Grandma!– Elsa cape everywhere, including the potty. Meeting “Elsa” at Learning Expo 2015 was pretty much the highlight of her young life so far, and “Let it Go” is still on daily/hourly rotation at our house. What I’m saying is, I GET IT.
So, of course, when we were planning this giveaway I KNEW there must be parents like me that would have more than enough evidence of their munchkins obsession to share.
The Contest

We figure you might as well reap at least some benefit from the fact that Frozen has taken over your life. Upload a picture of your little Annas, Elsas, Svens, and Olafs and then wait for the votes to come rolling in. If you want to help your cause, share your entry with your friends so they can vote in your favor. They can vote once every 24 hours so make sure you “remind” them to come back each day to improve your chances! Voting will end at Midnight on Sunday, May 31st.
The Prize
The four (4) submissions with the most votes will each win a family-four pack to see Disney on Ice – Frozen at the VBC courtesy of Rocket City Mom and Feld Entertainment! Winners will be contacted via the email they used to enter the contest and must respond within 48 hours of winning or a new winner will be drawn.
The Rules
The rules are simple but must be adhered to. By submitting a photo, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that he or she is 18 years old or older.
- The photo you upload must be one of your own child.
- You must own the “rights” to the photo (don’t submit a professional photo please).
- While you retain your rights to your photograph, by entering the contest, you grant Rocket City Mom Media Group, LLC (RCMMG) a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of the website. In Other Words: We might use the winner’s photo to promote a future contest.Â

Rocket City Mom’s,
There seems to be a glitch in the voting as once I had voted the number went up, but as soon as I refreshed the page my vote wasn’t counted. I know contests like this are meant to drum up page visits and new members, but it would be nice if the contest was actually about the best picture and not who has the most friends on facebook.
Brandon – I haven’t noticed a glitch but tell me which photo you voted for and I’ll check on it. As to your other query, as you said, these types of contests aren’t really about who has the best picture (and how would we ever choose?) but rather it’s a way for us to help our sponsor – in this case, Feld Entertainment – get the word out about their upcoming event via social media.
My picture uploaded 3 times so the votes are scattered. can you delete the other two so everyone will know which one to vote for?
I’ve gone in and deleted two of the three photos. I kept the one with the most votes.
Thanks! 🙂
My girls have LOVED seeing everyone’s pictures!!
Me too 🙂 I actually really love these photo contests because the pics are super cute. Need to think of more ways we can get cute photos!
I think I have two pictures as well. Sorry. Could you delete one of them?
I deleted your second photo Brandy.
I just realized tonight was the cutoff. No need to approve our photo. Sorry!
Is the contest finished? It looks like votes are still being calculated?
The winners have been notified. For some reason the cutoff on the original post was set for later today (instead of 12:01 today) but the contest is over.
