What to Do After Christmas
CHRISTMAS IS IN ONE WEEK!
Hard to believe that just eight short days from now everyone in your family (and all your visitors) might very well be looking at you with the same look this dog has. You know the look, it says, “I’m bored, entertain me.” And with Christmas over, what are you going to do? As always, RCM is here with a few suggestions on how to keep the family busy. Whether you are looking for fun closer to home or you’re ready to head outside the Rocket City, we’ve got ideas and suggestions. That’s just who we are 🙂
With the Family
Looking for something the whole family can enjoy? The Tinsel Trail and Ice Skating at Rocketfella Center are good choices for downtown. Of course, the Galaxy of Lights runs through December 31st and is also a classic option.
Just the Kids
If you are thinking you’d like a few hours to yourself, a winter camp for the kiddos might be in order. Sci-Quest, Space and Rocket Center and Bricks 4 Kidz are all offering Winter Mini-camps with one-day or week-long options. Maybe you just need a couple hours to run some errands. Why not drop the little ones off at the new Kidventure location which now offers a 2-hour and 3-hour childcare option for children who are potty-trained and older.
Get Outta Town
Maybe you feel you’ve done all there is to do in Huntsville and you’re still looking for a little entertainment. Why not jump in the mini-van for a short road trip down to Birmingham, up to Nashville, or over to Chattanooga?
