Jason’s Deli

A deli-style chain restaurant that boasts a healthy kids menu (complete with calorie and fat gram information for each item), Jason’s Deli is also very popular with my husband’s friends at work so we decided to check it out. In addition to what I would call New York deli food, it also offers a salad bar and free ice cream (no high-fructose corn syrup). Like a lot of similar chains, PB&J and grilled cheese were on the menu but there were lots of other options and you can choose wheat or white for almost any wrap/sandwich. Very kid friendly and reasonably priced ($7-$10 for an adult meal, $4-6 for child’s meal).

Kid’s Menu: organic apple juice or organic milk (chocolate or regular), grilled cheese, hot dogs, organic peanut butter and jelly, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, chicken wrap, mac and cheese, bowtie pasta and alfredo sauce, pepperoni pizza, bowtie pasta and meatballs
