River Clay Fine Arts Festival (River Clay) brings together people from across the region to celebrate the visual arts in all its forms. The juried fine arts festival includes an artist market featuring local and national artists, children’s art activities, student art exhibits and much, much more. Situated on the beautiful, park-like setting of Decatur, Alabama’s City Hall Campus, the festival offers a destination for visiting art enthusiasts and area residents to spend time sharing ideas, purchasing art and immersing themselves in the artistic experience.
A celebration of the visual arts. In addition to the juried art show, festivalgoers are treated to student art exhibits, children’s activities, art demonstrations, food trucks, live music and a patron hospitality lounge.

Voted one of the top 20 events in the Southeast during the month of October, the Alabama Renaissance is a premier event that transforms Wilson Park into Fountain-on-the-Green for an entire weekend. It is common to find pirates, fairies, trolls, maidens, kings, and everything in between roaming the park during this exciting event. Vendors, demonstrators, and performers will be situated throughout the park for the entire event. Everyone is welcome - especially those clothed in Renaissance attire!

Snap a few selfies by their festive pumpkin setups or stop by their photo station. Capture picture purr-fect memories: Their guest photographer will be on-site from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. to help you capture that purr-fect moment. They'll also host a local cat rescue on-site in the afternoon with adoptable cats ready to meet their forever families.
