Sunset at the Cecil Sun Circle

Join the Land Trust to watch the earliest sunset of the year and the official first day of winter from the Sun Bench at Marie’s Garden on Blevins Gap. Discover the cause for seasons and the cycle of the sun through the year. You’ll also get a chance to see the ringed planet Saturn in a small telescope.
This event features a 10-minute talk explaining the seasons as the sun is setting.
Meet at the new Cecil Sun Circle located in the back of the pollinator garden. Cloud date is Sunday, December 21.
