28th Annual Thanksgiving Day Hike at Monte Sano Nature Preserve

Join Land Trust of North Alabama for a Thanksgiving Day tradition! Get ready for your feast with a morning hike on Monte Sano led by Land Trust volunteers and staff. We’ll start out at Bankhead Trailhead and work our way down the mountain to Three Caves. Please note this hike does not end at the starting location. You can arrange to leave a car at Three Caves Trailhead in order to carpool back to the starting location for a 2-mile hike. Or hike your way back to Bankhead Trailhead instead, making this a 4-mile hike.
When: Thursday, November 23 from 9 AM – 12 PM
Difficulty: Moderate
Length: (one-way) 2 miles/2.5 hours, (out and back) 4 miles, 5 hours
