9-1-1 Festival (Haleyville)
Date/Time: June 2-3
Location: Haleyville, AL
Over fifty years ago, the first 911 emergency call was made in the United States and the call was placed in the North Alabama town of Haleyville. The Haleyville Area Chamber of Commerce and the town come together each year to host a two-day festival to celebrate the town’s role in making the first 911 call and to honor law enforcement and emergency personnel.

This NEW signature event held by the Albertville Chamber of Commerce will be held June 3rd in downtown Albertville, and will celebrate the heritage of living on Sand Mountain. Kiddie Carnival (Athens)
The Athens Lions Club 2023 Kiddie Carnival will be open June 22nd-July 29th. There are 10 rides at the Kiddie Carnival best suited for children ages 2-10, including a small ferris wheel, train, swings, carousel, rocket ships, scrambler, parachute ride and mini roller coaster.
Helen Keller Festival (Tuscumbia)
