Tate Farms and trying to figure out what the kids will be for Halloween.
And Starbucks pumpkin scones, just because they exist.

A definite sign of autumn tradition in our house is when the kids walk in from school to hot cider with cinnamon sticks on the stove, and for dinner either homemade pumpkin, squash, onion or potato soup! I love hat and scarf weather! And maybe it’s the Jersey girl in me, but I love driving around different neighborhoods to look at all the beautiful trees as their leaves change color.

You know Fall is here when Scott’s Orchard starts serving their apple cider slushies. I always buy a few extra gallons to freeze and use for mulled cider during the holidays. We also love driving around to see the leaves change colors in the New Market area.

Lyons Family Farm has become a tradition for us. So has superhero pumpkin carving. Everything is so much more fun when you have kids!

Definitely the Scarecrow Trail at Huntsville Botanical Gardens – it’s like a wacky “who’s who” of Huntsvillians!

Lyon Farms, setting up our fall/Halloween decorations (I’m a Halloween fan and get excited), watching The Nightmare Before Christmas after making sweet treats.

Scott’s Apple Orchard, football Saturday’s with junk food, and visiting the pumpkin patch followed by pumpkin carving.

Our favorite is kettle corn at 4D Farm!

Oktoberfest in Huntsville always kicks off the Fall season for our family! And we love all the local Halloween activities.

Fall = football! We never miss a Saturday gathered with the grandparents and lots of tasty fall tailgate snacks, cheering on the Crimson Tide. We also love kicking off the autumn season at the Monte Sano Art Festival in September.

Putting out Fall decorations, visiting the pumpkin patch at Tate Farms, apple cider slushies from Scott’s Orchard, football & everything fall food!! It’s also our favorite time to camp… not too hot and bugs are at a minimum!
