What’s Included in a Family Field Trip at Camp McDowell?

Camp McDowell is taking advantage of their 1,140 acres of breathtaking canyons, waterfalls, and comfortable accommodations to start these new Family Field Trips. Once just a summer camp for kids, now Camp McDowell has expanded to something so much more. It’s a conference and retreat center, special event venue, and serene destination for when you just need a change of scene from your house during a pandemic.
Lodging
You have three choices of accommodations if you go on an overnight Family Field Trip at Camp McDowell:
Hotel Style – Designed for comfort and privacy, these rooms have two queen beds and a private restroom. $320.00/room (up to 4 people/room)
Family Style – Perfect for family gatherings or tight-knit groups, guests share an antebellum log cabin. $45.00/per person
Cabin Style – For the “camp” experience, guests bring their own linens and share a communal restroom and large space with several others. $40.00/person
