Parents are in a bind right now. We here at Rocket City Mom know that as much as anyone. But as parents we also know that sometimes life is really hard and there isn’t much you can do but suck it up and keep moving forward.
Right now, that means working out this whole virtual school thing. We’re teaming up with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber and several other community partners on the Childcare Taskforce.
Calling all teachers, tutors, education majors…
Step number one of said taskforce is to try and connect education professionals in our community with parents who could use some help. If you are such a person (childcare provider, former teacher, substitute teacher, tutor, recently graduated education major, etc) and have availability over the next 9 weeks then please complete the form below.
We’ll publish the results and make them available to area parents. After that, it will be up to the parents and educators to work out a plan.
