You have got to see this stop-motion #StayHome video
Over the weekend I was skimming Reddit, like you do, when I came across a lot of people who were all going nuts for this short stop-motion film made by a German photographer/skier. According to his YouTube channel, Philipp Klein is an avid adventurer who enjoys photography and videography. While he has spent most of his life in Spain, he has traveled all over the world and has the videos and pictures to prove it.
Although he has a strong YouTube and Instagram following, it’s the little 60 second stop-motion film he decided to make in his apartment after a cancelled ski trip that has the whole world talking.
“Just before the current health situation locked us in, I was about to go Freeriding with my family. It was supposed to be the big adventure of the year, the one I had been eagerly awaiting for a year. Therefore, the lockdown had me thinking about skiing the whole time, so I started to think how I could ski without leaving my living room.”
Honestly, this is a great challenge for aspiring auteurs you might have at home who are looking for something to do. The next time I hear “I’m bored” I’m showing them this as a challenge. #StayHome
