School is back in full swing here in Madison, and the summer officially ends with the Labor Day weekend. My kids are already ready for a break from routine, and I’m looking for fun activities to add to our schedule. Luckily there’s a ton of different events happening in Madison in September to keep your whole family occupied.

• • Madison City Schools will be closed Monday, September 2 in observation of Labor Day. City offices and public libraries will also be closed this day.
  • Registration for Madison Basketball closes September 6 at 5PM. Click here for more information.
  • Madison City residents will vote on the proposed school tax on September 10.  Make time to vote and make your voice heard!
