MLK Day Parade

This annual parade is all about “Keeping the Dream Alive” – come help celebrate and cheer on the floats, bands, and community groups participating as Dr. King’s memory and legacy are honored. Your family can also participate in the annual MLK Day of Service here.

One of our favorite places to spend a chilly Saturday with the family – you can always find something interesting at Lowe Mill. Grab a bite at Happy Tummy, a treat at Pizzelle’s Confections, and ride the elevator to see the Art Market vendors & amazing installations.

Both young and old alike will enjoy this exhibit that explores the imaginative ways that artists use air as as tool for creating large-scale sculpture. Catch it with your family before it’s gone, but read this before you go.

Need a Date Night? There are a couple of opportunities for a PNO this weekend. The best part? The kids won’t even miss you because they’ll be having too much fun. The Little Gym of Huntsville and The Hogan YMCA are both up for the challenge.
