Madison Street Festival
Saturday, October 4th from 9AM-4PM

For 33 years this festival has been happening in downtown Madison, and the weather looks perfect this Saturday for the 34th! It’s everything you want in a giant community block party – greasy food, arts & crafts, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, balloon animals, live music, performances, and demonstrations. Get there early for the Parade – it starts at 9AM but you’ll need to park and stake your claim on a piece of curb well before then. View Website

Follow the clues to find all of the bronze ducks hiding around downtown and you’ll discover some awesome Huntsville history quite by accident (the kids won’t even know they’re LEARNING something!). After you find all the ducks, head back to the Visitor Center to collect your prize, then go reward yourself with a job well done with pizza and gelato at Sam & Greg’s.
