Madison Family Fun in June

Welcome to our monthly roundup of Madison Family Fun! Each month Melissa will be delivering fun and family-friendly events in Madison, AL to busy parents there.  Of course, our specialty is free/cheap things to do in Madison but the ultimate goal is spending time together in your community. Enjoy!

School is out, the sun is shining, and parents all over Madison are already dreading the summer lament of “I’m bored!” Head off the complaints by filling your June calendar with tons of family-friendly events in Madison. Whether you’re looking for indoor or outdoor activities, you’re sure to find something your family will enjoy to fill those long summer days.

Don’t Forget

  • All Madison City students are required to re-enroll for the 2019-2020 school year. The deadline for re-registration is June 24. Click here for more information.
  • If you have a child that will be in Kindergarten next year, check your assigned school’s website for more information about Kindergarten Assessments.

Kids Workshop: Putting Green

There’s a lot for teens and adults to see and do at The Studio, so get started by attending orientation to the Madison Library Makerspace! In this weekly program for we’ll introduce and demonstrate 3D printing, CNC machining, creative design software, and other Studio equipment. We will also cover mandatory safety training and go over ideas for future projects. Once you’ve been introduced, you can come back and get to know The Studio even better & make your own projects!
