Let’s Go Fly a Kite!

I hope you head outdoors this weekend to enjoy the gorgeous weather and soak up some Vitamin D!

Rocket City Mom will be at John Hunt Park (off Airport Road) for the first Community Kite Festival today from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Families are invited to bring their own kites or buy one at the event, and enjoy children’s activities and kite flying demonstrations. We’d love for you to come by our tent and say hello! The event is free to the public – bring your blankets and picnics, but leave Fido at home.

It’s been ages since I’ve flown a kite. Let’s hope we do a little bit better than Charlie Brown!
