This list of Huntsville, AL (and surrounding area) moms’ groups and playgroups should help you find just what you’re looking for. MOPS – Cove Church
This group meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at 366 Old HWY 431, Owens Cross Roads.
MOPS – First Baptist Church Huntsville
This group for mothers of preschoolers meets on the second and fourth Monday of the month from 9: 30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. at 600 Governor’s Dr.
MOPS – Madison Church of the Nazarene
This group for mothers meets on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at 8234 Old Madison Pike in Madison.
MOPS – Mt. Zion Baptist Church
This group for mothers of preschoolers meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 8:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. at 228 Mount Zion Road in Huntsville.
MOPS – Willowbrook Baptist ChurchÂ
A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there’s usually food… food you didn’t make! This community offers fitness and wellness classes for mom that are specifically designed for prenatal and postnatal bodies. In addition to mommy & me classes and mom-only classes, Fit4Mom also offers weekly playdates & monthly mother’s night outs.
Hike It Baby
Hike It Baby creates opportunities for families with young children and babies to take their first steps outside. Families are able to connect with nature and each other through scheduled meetings and organized hikes.
Huntsville/Madison Working Moms
This closed Facebook group is for “connecting moms with similar availability and experiences! Come here for weekend play dates, daycare advice, and general support!”.
Huntsville MOMs
The Moms of Multiples (MOMs) group meets once a month and is for anyone in the Huntsville area that has twins, triplets or more(!).

Mama Circle Huntsville provides education and support to growing families in the Huntsville area.

Mocha Moms
Mocha Moms, Inc. is a support group for mothers of color who have chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families and communities. Mothers Offering Mothers Support
This groups meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Huntsville Hospital Medical Mall Wellness Classroom. It’s led by a Mother/Baby nurse educator & a licensed professional counselor to facilitate group conversation and answer any questions.

Huntsville Moms Newborn, Postpartum, & Tots Support Group
This support group meets weekly for playdates and is led by a Postpartum & Infant Caregiver/Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Moms mingle and are able to ask about postpartum struggles and breastfeeding.
