Good Free Stuff

[dropcap type=”2″]T[/dropcap]his past week has been a whirlwind and, of course, much of it happened while I was traveling back and forth to Savannah! This site has so many new followers that earlier this week we passed 500. I am very excited that my little site is finally getting the word out to a larger group of people and I decided to celebrate by giving a bunch of stuff away. So much stuff that it’s getting hard to keep track.

Then, yesterday I got the call I had been waiting almost a week for. The Huntsville Botanical Garden is letting me give away a one-year family membership! I couldn’t be more thrilled. I love the Garden and it is my absolute favorite spot to take the little one and just sit and enjoy nature. Plus, this is perfect timing because we are getting ready to launch our newsletter – FINALLY – and the first issue is all about Enjoying Nature with your kids.

So here are the rules:

• Sign-up for our newsletter (link is at the top right of the home page). You cannot win if you don’t take this step. The winner will be drawn randomly and announced in the first issue which will be delivered to your inbox on Earth Day, April 22nd.
• For a second entry, tell your friends about the contest on your Facebook wall. You must mention Rocket City Mom (do this by typing the @ symbol and Rocket City Mom). After you’ve done this, leave a message on our wall that you did it.
• For a third entry, tell your friends about the contest on Twitter. Again, mention Rocket City Mom and make sure you use the @ symbol so I see it in my “Mentions” section and you get credit.
