All aboard! Fall is a relatively short season here in Huntsville, but one of our favorite ones because there’s so much to do! Definitely be sure to add the North Alabama Railroad Museum to your Fall Must List if you have a young train enthusiast. They offer two different train rides through the countryside, and if you act fast you can snag seats on both this year.

We did the fall colors ride. Fun for the kids and a cool history lesson. We’ll be back! – Christina B.

Special Fall Train Rides at the North Alabama Railroad Museum

Punkin’ Pickin’ Extravaganza

An alternative to the traditional pumpkin patch, the North Alabama Railroad Museum is combining the thrill of picking a pumpkin with the excitement of a train ride. Riders will be allowed to disembark from the train at Normal and enter a punkin’ patch. Children will be allowed to select a pumpkin (included in the price of their ticket) and take it back to Chase on the train and then home. There are four ride time available for 2022!

Date/Time(s): Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:30 PM
Cost: $20 – $25 for passengers | RCM Event

The annual Fall Color Special train ride is sure to bring a smile to young and old alike, as our large windows create the perfect picture frame for the colors of autumn. Bring your camera as we travel along five miles of track in search of colorful trees and falling leaves. You’ve got two dates and times to choose from in 2022!
