Nature Rangers: Autumn Adventures @Burritt | Grades K-5th

Beavers, bats, and bears, oh my! Come explore the wonders of our forests and wildlife in our Fall Forest Adventures camp. Your camper will learn all about forestry care, official tree identification, forest critters and so much more while spending time outdoors in Burritt’s Historic Park and beautiful nature trails! Students will have a blast playing active games, creating fun crafts, and doing hands on activities that will envelop them in our wonderful, natural world.

Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy | Ages 5 – 15

Actors will work on different elements of theatre including acting, voice, movement, improvisation for a whole week of fun! Friday is Sharing Day! Campers showcase their work to invited family and friends!

For Art’s Sake | Ages 6-13

This Fall Camp offers students the chance to explore their inner artist. The theme for this week is All Things Fall. Campers will have the opportunity to work with a range of mediums including painting, drawing and 3D materials. We value individuality and creativity, so student choice is incorporated into all art activities. We strive to foster confidence in artistic expression and technical skill. Huntsville Botanical Garden | Ages 4-11

Calling all friends of the forest! At HSVBG’s Fall Break STEM Camp students will explore nature with a focus on trees. Trees offer shade and protection, and they filter our water and our air. They give us flowers, fall colors, and lovely scents. They provide many resources, including wood, food, and medicines. This camp will include learning about tree conservation from our experts here at the Garden, exploring tree structure, and creating some beautiful artwork. Come learn about how trees sustain us and our responsibility to the trees.

Huntsville Museum of Art | Ages 5-13

HMA is offering two art camps for Fall Break- one for ages 5-8 and the other for ages 9-13. In these multi-media camps, kids will learn about the fundamentals of art – color, shape and composition. Media include acrylic, tempera, watercolor, pastel, and colored pencil. Subject matter will include animals, still life, landscapes and people. The Education department will provide structure, fun and friends in a safe, stimulating environment. Museum gallery visits included for inspiration.

Huntsville Parks & Recreation | Grades 1-6


Five community recreation centers in Huntsville are offering school break camps for Huntsville City School students this Fall. Registration will open August 30. Space is limited, and registration is first come, first served. First priority is given to current After-School Program participants. Camp includes morning and afternoon snacks, but parents must provide a daily packed lunch for their child.

Up A Creek Indoor Family Adventures: Madison & Huntsville | PreK-5th


If your kiddo loves daily field trips this is the camp for you! Plans for the week at Up A Creek Fall Break Camp include local field trips, trips to playgrounds, hikes, and a visit to the pumpkin patch. There will be a $5 lunch option and a free daily snack is included. Camp is provided for kids in grades Pre-K through 5th grade at both the Madison location and the Hampton Cove location.
