Work on your writers craft! Teens ages 12-17 can join in the Kids Classroom at South Huntsville Library most Mondays for a writers hangout. In this laid back group for young writers, teens can do the following: work on their writing in a group setting, do writing exercises; discuss their writing or writing in general with other teens; receive feedback on a 3-6 page typed, double-spaced & printed excerpt of their writing. This is not a writing class, but a chance work on writing while engaging with peers!

This course will provide mom and support person with the information needed to make an informed decision regarding feeding their baby and the necessary skills to ensure success with breastfeeding. They will explore topics like how to get started, first feedings, positioning and dealing with common breastfeeding difficulties and nutrition while breastfeeding. Learn what to expect the first few days with your new baby before you deliver. All classes are located in the labor & delivery waiting room on the 2nd floor. To find the waiting room, enter the facility via the Crestwood Medical Pavilion (Crestwood Maternity Center Entrance).
