Frazier Christmas Tree Farm

This local family farms sells five varieties of trees: Leyland Cypress, Arizona Cypress (Blue Ice and Carolina Sapphire Varieties) Emerald Green Arborvitae (Thuja Variety) and Murray Cypress. They also have an awesome Christmas Light Show and their very own gift shop, the Mistletoe Place. Check Facebook page for details.

Hours: Opens Thanksgiving weekend, Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sundays 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Shell’s Christmas Tree Farm

When Shell Tree Farm was started as a family business back in 1983, their vision was to create much more than just a place to get a fresh tree. The goal was to offer a family experience, with the motto of “Start a family tradition”. Shell Tree Farm now has some families that have been coming for three generations. The experience includes: hot apple cider from the old wood cook stove, mule and wagon rides, Santa, gift shop, wreath and garland making, and bonfires. With over 3000 trees to choose from, they offer both “cut your own” as well as cutting services, and are open the first weekend in November for early tagging. Hours: Opens Thanksgiving Day 1-5PM, Friday after Thanksgiving 9-5PM, then Weekdays 3-5PM, Saturdays 9M-5PM, and Sundays 1-5PM through Dec. 19

Sokoll’s Christmas Tree Farm

This farm in Florence, AL is a  “Choose and Cut” tree farm featuring Leyland and Murray Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, Virginia Pine, White Pine and Eastern Red Cedar. They will also have a limited selection of pre-cut Fraser firs. First planted in February of 2017 and officially opened to the public on November 27, 2020. Hayride, horsedrawn wagon ride, a visit from Santa, hot chocolate…of course!! and games for the kids.

Hours: Opens November 18, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Weekend 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Weekdays 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Thornhill Christmas Tree Farm

The Littlest Christmas Tree Farm

You can see Santa every Saturday in December at this this new family-owned Christmas tree farm in Hartselle! You are welcome to make an appointment to cut a tree Monday through Friday by calling 256-466-5473, and you can even schedule your tree to be delivered! Paypal, Venmo, CashApp or check accepted. Don’t miss a visit with Santa on opening day.

Trim-A-Tree Farm

Come and pick out a beautiful fresh tree, and Trim-A-Tree Farm will provide a saw if you wish to cut your own tree! They will also cut, net and load your tree for you. Fresh wreaths will also be available. They also have pony rides for children and a gift shop on site to purchase other holiday gifts and decor.
