- The world is bored. Cards Against Humanity wants to help.
- Voila! CAH: Family Edition (and it's free)
Our favorite adult card game has just released what will no doubt become our new favorite family card game. Cards Against Humanity has released a family edition and just in time because in this household we are real close to climbing the walls.
As America enters week three of sheltering in place (i.e. staying home for everything but necessities) the folks at CAH realized parents and kids alike could use a distraction. Enter their new Family Edition which is 100% free. All you have to do is download and print the cards and you’re on your way to several hours of rated PG family fun.
Is it really kid-friendly?
According to the website, “we designed the game for people ages 8 and up. We encourage parents to look through these cards before you play with your family and remove anything you don’t like, since different kids have different sensitivities.”
I took a look at the cards after I downloaded the PDF (we haven’t played yet) and there is a lot of “butt” and “poop” references both of which my kids will love. If that bothers you, this might not be for you but again, this isn’t really for you so it depends. Kids will likely love it and they’ll love playing it with their parents.
Ultimately, it’s up to you.
What’s the catch?
The only thing you have to do to download this free game is agree to #stayhome. That’s easy, right?
So, go on. What are you waiting for? Download it and start playing and then come back here to comment about your most hilarious answers. We’re guessing there will be some great ones. Also, stay home already. We’re all in this together and we’ve still got a long way to go. #StayHome #StaySafe
