We’ve got a shortage of sunlight heading into December, but one thing there isn’t a shortage of is things to do in Madison this month! The holidays are jam-packed for families, but hopefully you can find some time in your schedule to squeeze in a few more fun family events. With parades, story times, tree lightings, concerts, and so much more, there’s plenty happening in Madison in December to keep the kids busy during school break and get you in the holiday spirit.
- Madison City Schools will have a half day of school on Friday, December 20. Winter break starts December 23, and students will return to school on January 6.
- City offices will observe holiday closings December 24-25 for Christmas. Check holiday hours ahead of time if you have business to conduct.
